Maple Garlic Salmon

Salmon is my favorite food. This is my go-to way to cook it. The marinade is savory, garlicky, and just a bit sweet.

Note: Be careful not to overcook the fish. Salmon is best served slightly pink. If you are uncertain, err on the side of making sure the salmon is fully cooked.

Serves: 2-4 Cook Time: 1 hr

  1. In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place salmon in a shallow glass baking dish, and coat with the maple syrup mixture. Cover the dish, and marinate salmon in the refrigerator 30 minutes, turning once.
  3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  4. Once marinated, place the baking dish in the preheated oven, and bake salmon uncovered 8-12 minutes, or until easily flaked with a fork.
